Project Brief
Conceived by Karina Lima, with the aim of creating comfortable pieces for herself as a burn survivor.
Over time, she realized that many people need to protect their skin from the sun for various reasons, without giving up activity, comfort, and style. Thus, the idea arose to turn this concept into a brand that creates garments designed not only to cover but also to inspire with positive messages. Each of the messages we incorporate into our pieces is inspired by the lessons learned during this great challenge called life: words, phrases, and places that remind us at every moment that we come from Love, that hope, Faith, and the desire to move forward are infinite.
When reading each of the pieces, people connect with themselves, and at the same time, contribute to raising funds to support those who have suffered burns.
Why a blue heart?
The name Blue Heart originated from an event in the life of its creator, Karina Lima. It represents Marcelo, one of her children; it is the way she visualizes him. It centers on the hope that those who depart from this physical world accompany us and become the inspiration to continue our transformation day by day.
The emblem is a winged heart, designed with simple lines. The wings emerge from the “M” of Marcelo, and the heart is crowned with a kind of flame that represents Marcelo’s mission in this world, fulfilled through fire.
